UWM's Ed McCants shows off his stylish yet disturbing Cinderella-esque gown
MILWAUKEE - Members of the No. 12 seed University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee men's basketball team, which upset fourth-seeded Boston College on Saturday to continue its improbable NCAA tournament run, have fans and coaches worried that they're taking the "Cinderella" label too far.

"A couple of the boys showed up at the last game wearing gowns," said Panthers head coach Bruce Pearl, whose team also upset No. 5 seed Alabama in Thursday's first round matchup. "I was as thrilled as anybody about getting a win in the tournament, but that's no excuse to forgo regulation basketball attire."

"Everybody's calling us Cinderella," said Wisconsin-Milwaukee junior forward Adrian Tigert. "We figured we ought to look the part. And besides, those outfits afford you a surprising amount of mobility."

"It's awesome, baby!" shouted ESPN college basketball broadcaster Dick Vitale. "We finally got a real Cinderella, baby! The Panthers are the belles of the ball, and they look incredible, baby! And this particular team is more like Cinderella in a literal sense, because many of them are dressing in formal ball gowns, baby!"

"And if you think we looked fabulous this weekend," said junior forward Joah Tucker, who led the Panthers in points and assists in their win over Boston College, "just wait until you see what we wear on Thursday when we play Illinois. You'll die, you'll just die!"
